At MOT Manager we see the majority of online bookings take place out of hours in the evenings. We recommend integrating the online booking directly with your page’s Messenger. This saves a lot of time and gives the customer the option to book there and then.

For example: Thanks for contacting ABC Motors. If you are looking to book an MOT please click here >> (link to booking platform) or we’ll contact you back as soon as possible.

This means you don’t have to response personally to MOT booking enquiries in the evenings, especially when you do not have your diary in front of you. The customer can follow the link and book in easily.

Instructions:

• 1. Login to Facebook on your computer
• 2. Navigate to your businesses page.
• 3. On the left hand side; scroll down to settings.
• 4. Click onto messenger.
• 5. Scroll down to Starting a Messenger conversation, toggle it on and then click change.
• 6. Input your greeting: Thanks for contacting GARAGE NAME. If you are looking to book an MOT please click here >> **MOT BOOKING URL** or we’ll contact you back as soon as possible.
• 7. Click Save.
